區子琳(Paula)跟舊東家完約後，決定自資獨立發展，推出英文單曲《I'm not 18 or 22》，抒發因年齡日長而產生的感受。
Paula指在創作的時候，想到身邊的朋友都各自有自己的一些成就，但回望自己突然覺得有些原地踏步的感覺，想到自己不再是十八廿二，有感而發的寫了這首歌，而她當時想要用一個比較輕鬆的曲風去寫正經的題材，要想營造反差的感覺。但當歌曲製作完畢，Paula再回想這幾年在音樂上的一切，她突然發覺原來自己並不是一無所獲，起碼她可以做到歌手、擁有自己的作品，亦認識了很多朋友及伙伴，亦可算是小小的成就。
獨立發展之後，Paula已有接下來去到2026年上半年的計劃，希望製作更多不同風格的歌曲，好好去說自己的故事。
